ABOUT THE ARTIST

Sophie Theroux is a fine artist based in Western Massachusetts. She is passionate about the environment, and believes landscape paintings can help cultivate our appreciate of nature. Sophie has a degree from Amherst College in both Studio Art and Environmental Studies. She usually paints with oils, but also experiments with a wide array of other mediums. In all of her travels, she has found western Massachusetts to be one of the most beautiful places she has seen with summers and autumns that are especially delightful.
