How far in advance should I order my gown?

All designs are handmade for you based on your measurements. We suggest you order your gown six to eight months before your wedding date.

What if my wedding is less than six months away?

Select designs can be purchased under time constraints but a rush fee will be incurred.

Why should I make an appointment?

An appointment is needed to ensure I am available to assist you in finding a wedding gown that best suits your personality and style. I can also help select accessories and discuss customization options with you.

Can I complete my entire look in one appointment?

Yes, I also make veils and sashes.

What are the price ranges for your gowns?

Basic designs done in polyester start at $1000. Elaborate designs done in sustainable fabrics start at $3000 and allows for more customization options.

Do you make custom gowns?

For the bride looking for something truly one-of-a-kind, I offer custom bridal gowns. After a one hour consultation, I will make four sketches of designs you may chose from. A mock-up garment will be made for a fitting, followed by another fitting of the dress in the final fabric.

What fabrics do you work in?

I love to work with sustainable fabrics such as organic cotton, Tencel, bamboo, hemp and peace silk. I also work with polyester to accommodate clients on a tighter budget.

What is a sample sale?

A sample sale is a discount on a garment that has been previously worn in a photo-shoot or runway show. Garments may need dry cleaning and/or alterations to achieve a tailored fit. You can shop sample sales on Peaceful Fashions' Etsy store:

I fell in love with a certain gown, can I make changes to the design?

Typically, yes! Since your gown will be custom made for you, alterations can be made such as adding sleeves or adjusting hem length.

I am not local and do not plan on visiting Western MA. Can you still make my gown?

Absolutely! Just order the gown in the size the closest matches your measurements. If between sizes or unsure, it is best to go a size bigger. Your local tailor can make any necessary alterations.

I am ready to order, how do I do that?

I require a 50% deposit  get started. The final balance is to be paid at the first fitting, or upon shipment. I don't accept returns, deposits are non-refundable.
